The Jamestown Medical Fund (JMF) is a 501c (3) organization that provides financial assistance for those in our community unable to meet medical expenses vital to their continued health. This includes the uninsured and under-insured.

We serve as a “sweep-up fund” when a Jamestowner’s medical insurance or personal resources do not  meet the cost of necessary medical services.  The fund will provide assistance for all types of medical expenses such as hospitalization, medical supplies, prescriptions, co-pays, home care, etc.

In order to qualify for JMF funds, an applicant must apply– and exhaust– other available resources and social services. We suggest reading through the Resources on this site prior to applying, as there are many helpful links and funding sources available to Jamestowners. After that, if you still have outstanding expenses, we encourage you to apply to JMF using our application form.

Our Volunteer Board of Directors meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at The Jamestown Senior Center at 7:30 pm.
